China provoked India again: 250 Chinese soldiers intrude into Arunachal Pradesh

After consistently blocking India's bid to join Nuclear Supplier Group, China has left no stone unturned in provoking India. It has been confirmed from different sources and also by top defence officials that Chinese army has intrude Indian territory once again. The latest transgression by Chinese soldiers happened in Arunachal Pradesh's Yangtse region last week.



  • Top military officials have confirmed the transgression by PLA.
  • It happened in Arunachal Pradesh's Yangtse region where Chinese soldiers are said to be spent 3 hours in the Indian territory.
Officials in the MoD and IB have confirmed it to Indian Media that the transgression by around 250 Chinese PLA soldiers, who were divided into different groups, happened on June 9 in East Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh (a north eastern state). This was the first noticed transgression by PLA this year in the Arunachal Pradesh. China has been claiming Arunachal as a part of its geographical territory.

After this development from Chinese side, Indian Army has decided to lodge a complaint showing deep concern on the issue with the government in Beijing.

Transgression and incursion:
The former is for a shorter period of time while the later is done for a longer period of time in order to dominate the area by keeping the troops stationed in the region. The three week stand off between Indian and Chinese soldiers in Dault Beg Oldi area is one of the most famous incident of Incursion by Chinese People's Liberation Army.
